It's not exactly kosher to say that memory loss and cognitive decline are standard components of aging. Sure, there may be some minor deterioration in cognitive function as we age, but significant cognitive impairment is definitely not just par for the course.

RE: Rapamycin
Start early ...
Research shows that starting rapamycin in your late 20s or early 30s can help improve your overall health and potentially extend your life. This is compared to starting the treatment later in life, like in your 40s, 50s, or 60s, which is more common.
In studies with animals, taking rapamycin at a younger age (similar to a 30-year-old human) or middle age (similar to a 60-year-old human) increased their healthy lifespan. However, the longest lifespans were seen when rapamycin was started at a younger age.

RE: Best purchases you've made to improve your quality of life/health?
Got a water purifier hooked up to my kitchen tap for under 200 bucks, it's been a game-changer! I'm absolutely loving it. It's the best thing since sliced bread, trust me!
